Dr. Ciara Gibney was born and raised in chilly Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
She graduated from the University of Sydney Veterinary School in 2017 in Sydney, Australia. Following graduation Dr. Gibney completed a rotating clinical internship and practiced in a GP practice in Sydney Australia. She then moved back to North America, practiced in a cat only practice in her hometown of Edmonton, Alberta and then worked in GP practices in both Houston, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts. Dr Gibney joined the team here at Richland Animal Clinic in March of 2024. Her professional interests include internal medicine, particularly feline medicine, anesthesia and preventative care.
In her spare time she likes to swim, travel, cross country ski, hike and spend time with her daughter and husband. She has a very chatty calico cat named Ziggy.
